This year's FTC game is called INTO THE DEEP. It is part of the FIRST DIVE Season, and stands alongside REEFSCAPE and SUBMERGED. INTO THE DEEP involves two competing alliances that gather deep-sea samples to score in designated zones or baskets. Teams work with human players to create specimens for scoring on submersible chambers, while robots rush to ascend before the match ends​.
